Medical Gas Pipeline Systems

Bedhead Service Units provide grouped services at each patient or treatment location. Each unit is provided with variety of pre-wired electrical outlets, switches, pre-piped medical gas outlets, nurse call, data and video points to suit the customers requirements. The Bedhead Service Unit is specifically design for use in locations that require a significant amount of mechanical and electrical services, and is ideally suited for use in critical care areas.

The unit incorporates a length of medical rail for the mounting of equipment and accessories that can be provided with the unit or purchased separately. Each unit can be left or right handed as required. (i.e. the units can be located to the right or left of the patient, respectively) All medical gas piping and electrical services terminate at the top or end of the unit using methods approved by the relevant standards.

Thanks to its moveable axes the single arm pendant offers an optimal horizontal movement. Each unit is configured to take patient monitoring, respirator, infusion management, and gas outlet points for medical gases, mains and low voltage fittings. All surfaces are sealed and hygienically smooth as well as being robust and infection resistant. Constructed from high- grade steel and aluminum, each component is powder coated in RAL 9002.

The Area Valve Service Unit are fitted to all medical gas and vacuum services in a prominent and accessible position at the entry to wards, theatres, intensive care, recovery rooms, etc. The ASVU contains in metal box shut-off valves, pressure gauges, gas-specific connectors and low-high pressure switches.
